Japanese developer Miraku Capital & Development Co., Ltd has officially announced the launch of GATO Tower, a 67-story mixed-use development located at 334 Street in Boeung Keng Kang 1 (BKK1), Phnom Penh.


The project will combine premium residential apartments and a luxury hotel, becoming a significant addition to the capital’s rapidly developing skyline. The complex will be located on a 1,760-square-meter plot in one of the city’s most prestigious neighborhoods. The building will rise to a height of approximately 297 meters and will include:
- 472 residential residences
- 224 hotel rooms
Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026 and be completed in the fourth quarter of 2030 .

Architectural design concept by Master Architect
Inspired by nature : The unique location of the property in BKK1 served as a powerful source of inspiration for the architectural design. Particular attention was paid to the natural elements of the surroundings, with a majestic tree lining the driveway playing a key role.
The project’s philosophy : harmony with nature became the fundamental principle of the concept. Despite the technological advances of modern design, the team of architects strove to preserve and enhance the natural aesthetics of the area. Particular attention was paid to the Japanese perception of nature, where each tree is considered a living organism with its own unique energy.

An innovative solution : a vertical garden will be the project’s central element. The planned 300-meter structure is more than just a building—it is a new urban landmark that will complement the existing natural landscape, create a unique ecosystem within the urban environment, become a symbol of sustainable development, and offer residents and visitors a new space for interacting with nature.
Social significance : This urban icon is intended to become more than just an architectural landmark, but a true center of attraction. The project aims to shape the district’s new identity, create public space, maintain ecological balance, and develop the concept of a “green city.”
